Solutions and Projects in Visual Studio explains how projects are organised and how to manage them, which is useful since any work you develop with Visual Studio is organized as a project.
Visual Studio has a very useful debugger.

.NET framework

You will probably not need to worry about the .NET framework for this course, but if you do, the following references may be useful.

Overview of the .NET Framework provides a conceptual overview of the .net framework.
.NET Framework Class Library Overview provides a conceptual overview of the .net class library.
The .NET API browser (use correct version of .NET) is the portal to detailed reference material for the class library. The most interesting namespace for beginners is System.Collections Namespace .
